If you're a fan of 'Saved by the Bell' and are holding out for a remake of the '80s TV show with Zach, Kelly, Slater, Screech et al, don't hold your breath.

However, the good news is that there's a stage musical - or at least a musical parody version of the hit show - to sate your needs.

'Bayside! The Musical!' isn't exactly a brand new show, having first debuted in some form in 2005. However, in recent years it has been rewritten and its newest incarnation is winning plaudits in the various locations it's toured in recent years. It was written by the same people behind the shows 'Friends! The Musical!' and 'Showgirls! The Musical!', so expect plenty of adult humour and a tongue-in-cheek take on your favourite high schoolers.

It'll make its UK debut in March, running at London's The Other Palace theatre from March 9th - 17th. Unfortunately there's no Irish dates planned as yet, but if you have the time/money/inclination, it's only a hop, skip and jump via Ryanair.
