Now based in LA, Samantha Mumba is set to release her latest single 'Only Just Begun' on Friday 21 February. The song, produced by Mariah Carey collaborater Justin Gray, coincides with the announcement of an Irish tour, of which you can see the tour dates below.
Born in Dublin in 1983, Samantha Mumba began performing at the tender age of 3 as a member of The Billy Barry Stage School. At 15 Samantha was snapped up by pop impresario Louis Walsh and quickly signed a record deal with Polydor. Her first album “Gotta Tell You”, on which she co-wrote the majority of the tracks, was an international success reaching number 4 in the US Hot 100 Billboard Chart selling in excess of 4.5 million copies and earning Samantha a Grammy nomination.
Samantha recently returned to Irish screens with an appearance on RTE show, “The Hit” where her winning single “Somebody Like Me” reached number 5 in the singles charts.
Currently writing and recording in Hollywood with Brian Malouf (Michael Jackson, Queen, Madonna, Pearl Jam, Stevie Wonder) for her forthcoming album, 2014 will see Samantha returning to live performances and her musical roots.
