The hip-hop duo decided the world didn't need to look forward to their new album any longer.
Releasing their album 'RTJ4' a couple of days early, Run The Jewels have gifted us with sweet beats at a time when we need it the most. The duo is made up of rapper, emcee, and activist Killer Mike, and Brooklyn rapper and producer EI-P. Together they make a glorious collaboration, and their newest album has been eagerly anticipated.
Making the early announcement on social media, the hip-hop super-duo wrote: "F*ck it, why wait. The world is infested with bullsh*t so here’s something raw to listen to while you deal with it all. We hope it brings you some joy. Stay safe and hopeful out there."

Their follow-up album to their most recent effort from 2016 has already reached number one in USA iTunes, and may become a defining voice in these current political times. The new album features contributions from the likes of Mavis Staples, Pharrell, 2 Chainz, Zach De La Rocha, Josh Homme, and more.
If purchasing from their website, Run The Jewels gives you the option of making a donation to a worthy charity, the National Lawyers Guild, which is a human rights organisation. So far, fans have donated over $50,000 towards the cause.

Fans have been taking to Twitter to voice their joy at being able to listen to 'RTJ4' ahead of schedule, and here's the best reaction the move has received.
RTJ 4 is yet another great album from Run The Jewels. Both Killer Mike and EL-P snapped all the way through this project, showcasing there perfect chemistry. The production was top tier, and each song is very solid.

If there is any artist that's always been on the frontlines of this moment (not only in solidarity but with a plan on how to move forward peacefully together) its @KillerMike. I have been supporting Run the Jewels for years and will continue to do so.

Run the Jewels 2 dropped during Ferguson. RTJ3 dropped right after Trump’s election. RTJ4 is out early today, bc every revolution needs a soundtrack! I had a beautiful conversation w/ @therealelp & @KillerMike about it that you may find prescient & useful https://t.co/W1iIQnvsGj pic.twitter.com/C0uI80t8uo
