Sad news emerged yesterday when it was revealed that the older brother of Ronan Keating has died tragically in a car accident.
Ciaran Keating, who was in his 50s and lived in Louisburgh, Co. Mayo, passed away following a crash in Mayo as he and his wife Annemarie were travelling to Cork to watch their son Ruairi play a match for Cork City FC.
Although the former Boyzone singer has not yet publicly commented on the family tragedy, fans have been sending messages of love and support to him via social media.
Magic FM, the UK station on which Keating hosts a show, also reached out to offer their condolences, while Cork City did the same. It is believed that Ruairi Keating started the match, but was substituted at half-time.
