It's been over a decade since Audioslave last played together, but the rock supergroup are reuniting for a special one-off gig this weekend.
While Trump has found it difficult to get anyone on board for his inauguration in Washington DC on Friday, Chris Cornell and co. will play an 'anti-inauguration' gig in Los Angeles on the same day.
It's being staged by Prophets of Rage, the rap-rock supergroup formed last year and also featuring Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello - and so far, it looks like it's the band's only reunion gig.
The Anti-Inaugural Ball - which will also see Jackson Browne, Jack Black, Vic Mensa and more performing - is a "celebration of resistance", according to Morello. "Resistance to racism. Resistance to sexism. Resistance to homophobia. Resistance to bullying. Resistance to environmental devastation. Resistance to fascism. Resistance to Donald Trump. We are staring down the barrel of a dystopian nightmare unless we act now, unless we fight back now."
A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network.
