The tracklist for the decidedly emo soundtrack to Tim Burton's new adaptation of 'Alice in Wonderland' has been revealed. Not only does it feature the likes of Avril Lavigne, Wolfmother and a collaboration between Blink 182's Mark Hoppus and Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, but The Cure's Robert Smith will take on a track called 'Very Good Advice' from Disney's original 1951 animation, while Franz Ferdinand contribute a track called 'The Lobster Quadrille'.
The album itself will be called 'Almost Alice' and is due for release on February 26th, a week ahead of the film's release on March 5th. Unsurprisingly Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland stars his two favourite actors, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter and Helena Bonham Carter as the Queen Of Hearts. The rest of the cast is just stunning though, with Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat, Christopher Lee as The Jabberwock, Michael Sheen as The White Rabbit, Alan Rickman as The Caterpillar and George Dawes himself Matt Lucas will take on the role of Tweedledum and Tweedledee.Nice.
