The will they/won't they saga about possible Led Zeppelin tours in the future took another turn recently with the news that Robert Plant might be open to touring with the legendary band in 2014.
Led Zeppelin have performed just once since drummer John Bonham's death in 1980, a benefit concert in London in 2007 with Bonham's son Jason behind the kit and ever since fans have been clamouring for something a bit more substantial.
Plant has been considered the main stumbling block for a Zeppelin tour, reportedly being more interested in new musical projects than in revisiting old ground but speaking to Australia's 60 Minutes, he attributed some of the blame to his bandmates.
"[Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones] are Capricorns. They don't say a word. They're quite contained in their old worlds and they leave it to me", Plant said. "I'm not the bad guy...you need to see the Capricorns. I've got nothing to do in 2014."
While this is far from a confirmation that Zeppelin will reform for a tour, fans will be heartened by Plant leaving the door just a bit ajar.
