Robbie Williams releases his new album 'Under the Radar: Volume 1' today after no build-up or promotion.

It's his first album since last year's 'Swings Both Ways' and was announced in an online video in which the pop star admits that his songwriting partner Guy Chambers thinks he's a 'lunatic' for releasing it. Most of the songs have been previously recorded and "would just remain in [his] computer" if they weren't released now, he explains.

Rather interestingly, its release date means that it will go head-to-head with his former Take That bandmates, who also release their new album 'III' in the UK today.

The album is available exclusively via RobbieWilliams.com.
