It is one of the most iconic music videos of all time, not to mention one of the most iconic songs of the 1990s.

The Verve's 'Bitter Sweet Symphony' video, in which frontman Richard Ashcroft famously barrels down a street in Hoxton, London regardless of anyone who might be in his way, has been copied and parodied several times over the years.

However, Ashcroft recreated the video himself for a Sky Sports promo video for the F1 British Grand Prix, which took place last weekend.

The promo has now gone online and you can see Ashcroft walking around the Silverstone circuit and the pit lane - although the traffic is a bit busier than in the original.

The song also has a new arrangement, with the acoustic guitar that Ashcroft is strumming brought to the fore.

Several F1 drivers including George Russell and Lewis Hamilton also feature in the promo, with older footage interspersed with Ashcroft's meanderings.
