Former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr is overseeing a remastered release of the eight albums by The Smiths packaged together for the first time. Each track from each of the band's studio albums has been taken back to original tape sources and ramastered by master-engineer Frank Arkwright, assisted by Johnny Marr at Metropolis Studios in London. All the albums will be available on both CD and 12", including all the original artwork. The albums will also feature a super-deluxe version, which will be a must for the collections of any Moz-head.
The Smiths are one of the most influential bands to emerge from the UK in the past few decades and remain one of the most beloved and best remembered bands to this day, even if Morrissey is a bit mental nowadays.
