If you think that getting someone's name wrong or mistaking their identity is bad enough in print or online, how about getting it wrong in song-form?
Even worse: how about commemorating the wrong member of a group who is still very much alive and kicking?
That's what happened to rapper KRS-One, whose new song 'Hip Hop Speaks From Heaven' features on his new album 'The World is MIND'.
The track mistakenly named Beastie Boy Ad-Rock (aka Adam Horovitz) as a fallen hip-hop comrade, rather than MCA (aka Adam Yauch), who passed away in 2012, with the line: "Like a late fog in the mist/ I see King Ad-Rock and rest in peace Nate Dogg/ Their names and their natures will last“.
KRS-One issued a statement apologising for the error and claiming that he is re-doing the track and pulling it from the digital version of his album.
