If you were on X yesterday, you may have noticed that the term 'Fat Bottomed Girls' was trending.
The song was originally released in 1978 and is considered to be one of Queen's more frivolous but much-loved singles.
However, it has caused drama amongst social media users after it was revealed that the song, with its chorus of "Fat bottomed girls, you make the rockin' world go 'round", has been omitted from a new version of the band's 'Greatest Hits'.
The compilation, which was curated for Yoto - the audio player for kids that plays audiobook stories, music, activities, sound effects, radio and podcasts - left out the track as it was deemed inappropriate for the younger audiences that Yoto caters to (ages 3 to 12.)
However, some social media users are up in arms about the track's supposed 'cancellation' and kowtowing to 'woke' culture.
Others have slammed the overreaction and say that it's perfectly reasonable to remove adult-oriented songs from a child-oriented playlist.
