We might get to hear Prince's vast catalogue of unreleased music sooner, rather than later, if the latest reports are to be believed.
The musician kept an array of material in what has becoming known as the 'vault', amassing thousands of hours of music over the past forty years - but all three major labels are reportedly in talks to buy it for up to $35 million, according to Billboard. They say that a source told that that the advisers to Prince's estate, Charles Koppelman and L. Londell McMillan, are shopping it around.
The same source claims that a deluxe edition of 'Purple Rain' will be released soon, possibly in early 2017, while a Greatest Hits package is also in the works.
With Prince's home and studio complex Paisley Park opening as a museum just six months after his death, it seems that no time is being wasted in making as much money as possible off the late star.
