Pixies are a band that has always enjoyed a big Irish fanbase - so much so, that Black Francis and his bandmates are planning a three-night stand in Dublin next year.
The iconic indie band will play three dates at Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre on March 8th, 9th and 10th.
They are undertaking a series of three-night residencies in several European cities - including London, Manchester, Paris and Amsterdam - to play their classic albums 'Bossanova' and 'Trompe Le Monde' in their entireties, as well as other cuts from their back catalogue. Tickets from €62 including booking fees go on sale this Friday 9th June at 9am.
Meanwhile, two other gigs have been announced this morning: synthpop legends The Human League will play the Bulmers Live at Leopardstown gig series this August 17th (tickets from €30 plus booking fee, on sale this Thursday, June 8th).
Finally, Eric Clapton will embark on a limited tour of the UK and Ireland which will see him playing Dublin's 3Arena on Thursday, May 16th 2024. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 9th at 10am.
