Joni Mitchell fans may have been biting their nails with worry when it was revealed that the legendary folk icon had been hospitalised after suffering a brain aneurysm in March 2015, but it seems that she is fighting fit these days.
The 72-year-old made her first public appearance since her illness on Saturday night in Los Angeles, when she attended a gig by jazz musician Chick Corea.
The photo, which saw her smiling and relaxed as she posed with friends, was posted to her website with the caption: "We are thrilled to see Joni out and about again! Last night she attended a Chick Corea concert at the Catalina Bar and Grill in Los Angeles."
