The Nicest Man in Rock strikes again.
You've heard of people who are so generous that they'd give someone the shirt off their back - but how about the shoe off their foot?
Dave Grohl - a man who has suffered a leg injury of his own in the not-too-distant past - ended up giving a fan who was on crutches one of his shoes after she met Foo Fighters backstage.
The fan, whose name is Sabryn, was at the Foo Fighters' Washington DC gig last week when she had a chance to meet the band. Noticing her crutches, Grohl brought his orthopaedic surgeon out - who told her that she needed to wear a shoe on her injured foot or it wouldn't heal.
The problem was that no shoe was big enough to fit around her cast - and that's when Grohl stepped in.
“I told him that my shoes didn’t fit over it because it’s pretty big and my shoes are kinda small," she told Alt Press. "So Dave said, ‘You need one of my big high tops!’ and I laughed it off.”
Sure enough, however, she ended up with one of the rocker's high top runners.
