If you're not a fan of Ed Sheeran's music, that's all well and good. But writing his obituary? That's a step too far.
Not for Icelandic newspaper Morgunbladid, however - as either they made a horrible mistake, or someone on their staff has it in for the ginger singer.
Sheeran's photograph was mistakenly used in the obituary section, after an 82-year-old Icelandic man by the name of Svavari Gunnari Sigurðsson passed away - and it wasn't long before their grave error was pointed out on social media.
Sigurosson, Sheeran... it's not a million miles away, true - but still, lads. Or are they telling us that Ed Sheeran is some kind of shapeshifting immortal lizard person? 'Cos that'd make a lot of sense.
Hate to break it to u but Ed Sheeran is dead. It also turns out he is a 82 year old Icelandic man called Svavar. Ed Sheeran was apperantly only his stage name.... #ripsvavarsheeran pic.twitter.com/gxXuccmU2h
