More than 37,000 souls braved the rain last night to witness the biggest live gig ever played by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis in what was to be the duos only Irish date of the year.
The pair have enthused all week in the media about their special affinity with Ireland after a now legendary club show in the Twisted Pepper on Abbey Street was fundamental in making their reputation on this side of the Atlantic. From 200 people to 37,000 is quite the giant leap, fair play to them.
