Marlay Park is looking extremely festival ready. We visited the site this morning to witness the final preparations for this weekend's much-anticipated first ever Longitude festival and took a tour around the pristine site.
One of the first things to strike us about the festival site was how conveniently close everything is. No matter where you are, there's not much more than a three minute walk to any of the stages, bars or toilets.
Further still, the capacity for each night is limited to 10,000 which means that this will be about as intimate a musical experience as has ever been hosted in Marlay Park.
In terms of tickets, MCD informed as that Saturday and Sunday are almost at full capacity while a very limited number of tickets remain on sale for Friday, so those of you who were holding out until the last minute to pick up your ticket better act fast!
Oh, and those of you curious about the Kraftwerk 3D show will be interested to learn that you'll get handed a pair of 3D specs on Sunday upon arrival.
