Pete Doherty of The Libertines has written a song about his late friend Amy Winehouse, which will be released as a single in March.
All proceeds from 'Flags of the Old Regime' will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, set up by her parents to help young people struggling with drugs and alcohol abuse.
Recently, Doherty has been in rehab in Thailand for his heroin addiction, but The Libertines - who reunited for the second time last year for a run of London gigs - have signed a new record deal, so expect to hear more from them this year.
