She gave birth last December but still hasn't disclosed the sex or name of her firstborn child - but now it seems that Paloma Faith has kept both under wraps for a reason.
The London pop star has revealed that she intends to raise the child as gender-neutral, i.e. without asserting influence on whether they identify more as male or female and not dressing them in stereotypical pink/blue clothes.
Speaking at the recent Q Awards, she told The Mirror: "I’m loving being a mum. I want two or three kids in all and they’ll be gender neutral.”
She added: “I just want them to be who they want to be."
She later clarified her remarks with a tweet denying that 'gender-neutral' meant anything sensational, but rather a sense of equality in terms of their exposure to 'boys' toys and girls' toys'.
For the record @DailyMailUK gender neutral means equal amount of so called “boys toys and girls toys” it doesn’t mean anything sensational
