The Other Voices series has gone in a bold new direction, it was announced today. No longer confined to Dingle alone, Other Voices shows will take place in Derry and London in early 2013.

The three-part Other Voices series will begin, as usual, with a stint in the series' home of St. James' Church in Dingle on December 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Then, in February 2013, a three day Other Voices residency will take place at the Glassworks on the 8th, 9th and 10th before heading to East London in April.

The full line-up is still to be unveiled but we can confirm that Villagers, Paul Buchanan, SOAK and The Unthanks will be on hand in Dingle, while Neil Hannon, Jesca Hoop, Django Django and Marina and the Diamonds are signed up to appear in the Derry incarnation.

Neil Hannon said of the announcement today: " As an alumni of Other Voices Dingle, it was lovely to receive an invite to appear at Other Voices Derry. Not least because Derry~Londonderry (the city that dare not speak its name) is the city of my birth! It is also the UK City of Culture next year which I am keen to show my support for."
