One Direction won't be spare a couple of quid anytime soon, as the UK/Irish boyband look set to make their bank managers very happy indeed by earning in excess of $1 billion in the next year. Insert Dr. Evil joke here.
Where will this cash come from? Well, the band are rarely off the road which help their merchandise and album sales but their first film 'This Is Us' looks set to propel the lads into the 'filthy stinking rich' bracket of the Sunday Times Rich List.
It's projected that their 'Where We Are' stadium tour which is due to kick off next year will net the lads more than a quarter of a billion dollars alone, while Business Insider magazine suggests that One Direction have moved 30 million records in the past couple of years.
You'd have to wonder, though, will these inflated bank balances go to their heads? Well, Liam Payne is reported to have recently spent £1.2 million on a single bottle of champagne, so we'll let you judge that for yourself.
