Despite best attempts to keep their latest album under wraps the new One Direction album appeared online yesterday. The band have admitted they are frustrated and annoyed at the recent leak.The album 'Midnight Memories' was set to hit shops next Monday but has been leaked a week early. The boys expressed their annoyance at a recent book signing for their new book 'Where We Are'.
Band member Liam Payne said. 'It is annoying because there's this big build-up and it affects sales. We really want a number one, so we're just kind of hoping for the best now. Hopefully people go out and buy it. It happens these days all the time. There are some very clever people out there. You're buggers!'
Louis Tomlinson continued by saying 'It's just frustrating when you work so hard on an album and you kind of want everyone to hear it at the same time.Some select fans won't listen to it until it's out, which is great. But there are others who obviously can't help themselves.'
While Harry Styles said, 'It's just nice to have an impact. If there was an album I liked and I could listen to it a week before, I probably would. It's just nice to have that moment where it builds up to, 'Now it's out and everyone can listen to it'.
We reckon it won't hurt the millions of pounds the lads are already making. Meanwhile it appears they have been doling out advice to fellow boyband McFly. The band, who recently announced they will be joining up with Busted to form supergroup McBusted, have turned to 1D for career and style tips. After seeing the levels of attention the boys experienced, band members Danny and Dougie admitted to asking the boys for tips. 'It's all very natural and they're very genuine. I think that's why they've exploded.' said Dougie while Danny added, 'We asked them for advice! 'How do you do it? How do you look so good?'
