As part of a brand new feature at Omniplex cinemas, Elton John’s "The Million Dollar Piano" concert will be screened throughout the country for one night only on March 22nd. The legendary British songwriter is currently performing a residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, that began in September 2011 and will culminate on April 26th this year.

The show has been extremely well received thus far, with an array of John’s greatest hits being performed to standing ovations in Vegas’ most expensive entertainment venue. Among the classic songs are greats like 'Tiny Dancer', 'Candle In The Wind', 'Your Song', 'Rocket Man' and even Lion King favourite 'Circle Of Life' for Disney buffs.

The titular piano is a Yamaha creation, featuring over 68 LED video screens projecting imagery throughout the highly visual show. Of the concert, the man himself had this to say: "I’ve had the best time (in Las Vegas) because I always thought of it as a challenge and wanted to put on the best show. I don’t think there could be a better-looking show than this in Vegas or in any venue anywhere."

It looks set to be a big March for the pop icon with his seventh and arguably greatest record, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, set for reissue on its 30th anniversary.
