'Old Town Road' is one of those songs that, quite frankly, is going to be buried in the back of your head for the next three months or so.
Why? Is it because the mixture of Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil Nas X is too weird to ignore? Maybe. Could it be riding on the wave of Western-themed pop culture ephemera since 'Red Dead Redemption 2' launched? Possibly. It could also just be that it's just an ear-wig of a song and who doesn't love horses?
Chris Rock, for sure, seems completely at ease in the official music video for 'Old Town Road', turning up in the opening scene with a "horse horse", flanked by Haha Davis to make it all the more weirder.
