According to reports, Noel Gallagher has finished work on his upcoming solo album, and is just waiting for brother Liam's new band Beady Eye to complete their current tour before he releases it into the world.
Reports have suggested that the currently untitled album could be coming our way in early October, with an unnamed source stating, "Noel has been in LA recording and he is really happy with the tracks that have been produced ... The album is complete and now Noel is just waiting for Beady Eye to finish their tour before he gives fans any information on the album. He doesn’t want his music to be overshadowed by Liam in any way, shape or form. It may be a while before he feels ready to release anything but it is 100% ready to go."
The albums track list has been unveiled and features two old Oasis demos, 'Stop The Clocks' and 'I Wanna Live A Dream (In My Record Machine)'. This would appear to back up Liam's earlier claims that his brother had "swiped" material from unreleased Oasis sessions. However, as recently as February Noel maintained that he wasn't working on any new material and that "If anything comes out it'll be later rather than sooner". And since the source of this recent news is unconfirmed, it may yet prove to be untrue. In the meantime, The Music Magazine reports Noel Gallagher's solo album track list is as follows:
The Magic Can’t Be Right
Stop The Clocks
Freaky Teeth
Mile High Moon
Come On It’s Alright
God Help Us All
Don’t Stop Being Happy
Red, White And Blue
If I Had A Gun
I Wanna Live A Dream (In My Record Machine)
