Nile Rodgers and Chic have announced a December show at the RDS Main Hall this morning.
The '70s and '80s hit-makers are playing a new and expanded set on December 1st in support of their new album, 'It's About Time', their first in 25 years. That album, incidentally, featured everyone from the likes of Elton John and Lady Gaga to Vic Mensa and Craig David. Rodgers, who's no stranger to these shores, said in the announcing statement that "we are putting together “the” party of the festive season! The entire night will be programmed by me. Come to dance!"
Currently, there's no word yet on a support act, but if their Malahide gig is anything to go by, it'll be something special.
Tickets cost €59.50 and go on sale this Friday from Ticketmaster and all usual outlets at 9AM.
