It really seems as if Dave Grohl can't sit still these days. Seemingly vying for the title of busiest man in rock, the former Nirvana drummer and current Foo Fighters head honcho and Them Crooked Vultures drummer/co-founder has been talking about plans for the next Foo Fighters album.

Butch Vig is set to produce. This will mark something of an anniversary for Vig and Grohl as it was Vig who produced Nirvana's breakthrough album Nevermind in 1991.

"I think this could be our heaviest album yet", Grohl told Rolling Stone. He also revealed details of a significant shift in the bands' recording policy, opting for a more homemade approach. He intends the album to be recorded entirely in analog from Grohl's own garage, instead of the cutting edge Studio 606 which is where the previous two Foo Fighters albums were made. "Me and Taylor (Hawkins, Foo Fighters drummer) have already starting demoing songs".
