Will Smith may be of an age where his children are making their own careers in music, but it looks like he's not finished with his time on the stage himself.

The actor and musician reunited with his old buddy DJ Jazzy Jeff at the Livewire festival in the Blackpool over the weekend, and as well as playing their numerous hits like 'Summertime' and 'Boom Boom Shake the Room', the pair played a brand new song called 'Get Lit'.

NME report Smith as saying: "I wanted to make a song that allowed people to let their light shine. We all have an inner light and sometimes this world... People can say stuff to you and tell you you can’t do and you know you can, but when they tell you that it kinda knocks you down a bit, right? So I wanted to make a record that reminded each and every one of y’all to let your light shine.”

Not all the reactions have been positive, however, with some YouTube commenters saying stuff like:

"jayden, go get your dad mate"

"Man will smith and jazzy Jeff were such a classic duo wtf is going on here , two 50 year olds talking about " getting lit" god help us all on this one , 2017 what a time to be on planet earth"

"BLAH!! This is like when KISS did a disco song"

"Will smith please. Please don't do this."

"This is some Corey Feldman next level shit and not in a good way."

What do you think? Is 'Get Lit' lit, or has the Fresh Prince gone a bit stale?
