U2's latest video for 'Song for Someone' stars Woody Harrelson, and is more of a short movie than just a music video.

The video is for the band's third single from their Songs of Innocence album, and not only stars Woody, but also his daughter Zoe Harrelson. The short piece was directed by Vincent Haycock, who has plenty of experience when it comes to making music videos, as he's worked with Florence & the Machine, Calvin Harris and Paul McCartney, amongst a host of others.

Aoife McArdle's video for 'Every Breaking Wave' was also a long one with more of a story to it, which focused on relationships and tensions in the North, so this is becoming something of a trend for the band.

The video thematically links to RECTIFY, an award winning series from SundanceTV that looked at the story of Daniel Holden and his family as they struggle to move forward after Daniel’s release from 19 years on death row.
