As we saw on her Carpool Karaoke segment the other day, Katy Perry is not shy about discussing her long-running feud with Taylor Swift.
The two artists fell out several years ago after Perry reportedly hired backup dancers from under Swift's nose, and Swift penned 'Bad Blood' about the incident.
Now, Perry - who has denied that a song from her own new album, 'Swish Swish', is about Swift - says that she's ready to make peace with her former friend.
"I did try and reach out to her,” she said in an interview with Sirius XM. “I tried to do the right thing, the good thing, and, you know, she shut me down and wrote a song."
She added: "I don’t have any beef really with anyone. I love everyone, and honestly… I think we need to unite more than ever. I think we see that today especially. Like, we need to come together and love on each other today. Don’t matter where you come from, don’t matter what you believe, don’t matter which music you like the most, we are the same and we need to be unified.”
She even said that she'd be willing to FaceTime Swift when the host asked her, saying "Absolutely. “By the way, I am ready because I think when women unite, the world is going to heal.”
