Kanye West broke down in tears on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show last night, when discussing the death of fashion professor Louise Wilson.
Wilson was a professor of fashion design at London college Central St. Martin's who died last year. Her students included noted designers Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane and Phoebe Philo.
"I went to Louise Wilson's memorial, the greatest fashion instructor of all time," West said. "Louise Wilson was the baddest professor of all time of any fashion school ever, notorious for not letting people stop at a 7 or an 8, pushing people to a 12… I didn't know we were going to lose her."
The full interview - in which he talks about his forthcoming seventh album, his collaboration with Paul McCartney, being "a rich person" and more - was filmed and can be watched below.
You can hear him speaking about Wilson from the 24 minute mark.
