Of all the spectacular Super Bowl halftime shows over the years, none of them have started with the performer singing 'God Bless America' on the roof of the stadium.
That's exactly what Lady Gaga did at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas last night, where the New England Patriots beat the Atlanta Falcons 34 - 28 after a sensational 11th hour comeback.
But whatever about the sport, Gaga came good on her promise for a big show - even without any special guests.
Although many had expected her to address Trump in some way, her performance avoided the political and went for pure entertainment - apart from the rather pointed 'with liberty and justice for all' before she leapt from the roof to the stage.
She opened with 'Poker Face', before playing 'Born This Way' and 'Telephone' (with no Beyonce, unfortunately), followed by 'Just Dance' . She then took to the piano for 'Million Reasons' before another costume change for big closer 'Bad Romance', followed by possibly the best mic drop you've ever seen.
