The actor and real-life Eastender talked the audience through the year's highs and lows at the BBC Music Awards last night, from the multitude of high-profile deaths to the year's good points.
"2016, it turned up the loss; we didn't choose it,"he said. "So we turned up the game, cos we needed the music!"
