Denver Broncos fans didn't have a lot to enjoy during last night's Superbowl in East Rutherford New Jersey as not even the talents of legendary quarterback Peyton Manning could deter a Seattle Seahawks team intent on victory, as they trounced the Broncos 43 - 8.

Any Denver natives who might be a fan of Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers may have at least enjoyed the halftime show, though, where Mars and Anthony Kiedis and co. teamed up and raised the temperature in the otherwise freezing New Jersey stadium.

Mars opened proceedings from behind a moving drumkit (as you do), performing songs like 'Just The Way You Are', 'Locked Out of Heaven' and 'Treasure' and was joined by RHCP who blasted out a version of 'Give It Away'.

Mars and the Chili Peppers join an illustrious list of acts who've played a Superbowl halftime show, including The Who, Prince, Bruce Springsteen and, last year, Beyonce.
