Try as Noel Gallagher might, those 'Oasis reunion' rumours just will. not. go. away.

In fact, as the weeks go on - and particularly since the recent release of the 'Supersonic' documentary - they only seem to gather momentum.

The latest despatch from the rumour mill is that support bands are already being booked for their comeback tour.

Australian website Noise11 claim that a 'source' told them that a "UK rock band from the 90s with a very close connection to Liam Gallagher" are being 'tapped' as the opening act for part of the tour, adding "so fans could be in for the ‘ride’ of their life". That's a not-so-subtle allusion to Ride, the shoegaze/alt-rock band that featured Andy Bell on guitar. Bell would later go on to play with Gallagher in Beady Eye after Oasis split.

So far, there is nothing further to back up their claim - so will they or won't they? Stay tuned...
