No doubt you're already familiar with name Martin Skhreli; he's the price-gouging pharamaceutical CEO who pretty much became 'the most hated man on the Internet' when he bought the manufacturing licence for a HIV drug and raised the price by over 5000% percent.
He is also the man who paid $2 million for the 'secret' Wu-Tang Clan album 'Once Upon a Time in Shaolin', which the hip-hop group only made one copy of, and which came with the clause that it is not allowed to be sold until the year 2103.
However, the album is allowed to be played for free in public spaces at the buyer's discretion, but Skhreli has said that he is torn between "wanting to destroy the record and dreaming of installing it in some remote place so that people have to make a spiritual quest to listen," according to VICE, who are making a documentary about it/him.
In a move that is so absurd that it's almost pantomime villain-esque, he said: "I'm not just the heel of the music world. I want to be the world's heel."
Skhreli is currently out on $5 million bail for security fraud charges that he was arrested for in December - and may end up in the can for 20 years if he's found guilty. Maybe he'll want to keep that album to himself, just in case he ends up with a lot of free time on his hands.
