Johnny Marr's manager has scotched yesterday's rumours of a potential Smiths reunion next year. Speaking to NME, Joe Moss said: "it isn't happening. We are fully focused on preparing Johnny's new album for release and booking shows for 2013."
Yesterday's rumours claimed that a Smiths reunion was a "done deal" and that four gigs had been booked for next year, including a headline slot at Glastonbury, but now it seems that Moz and co. are as far as ever from burying the hatchet.
Johnny Marr did state earlier this year that he would reform The Smiths if the British coalition government steps down. The ball's in your court, Cameron and Clegg.
