Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno has let slip to MTV News that The Rolling Stones will be named as one of the headliners of this year's Glastonbury festival. Kasabian will themselves play a headline slot at the Hard Rock Calling festival in Stratford, which will take place at across the same weekend as Glastonbury - 29th and 30th June.

"I hope ours is the most talked about performance of the weekend, but that would be a miracle because The Rolling Stones are playing Glastonbury", Pizzorno told MTV.

Meanwhile, you might recall that last year's headline performance by Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney at Hard Rock Rising - which last summer was in London's Hyde Park - was cut short due to a noise curfew. It's understood that the reason to move venues was to avoid this happening again this summer. The Boss himself will be back to headline the Saturday night and will no doubt do his best to make up for the unceremonious ending at last year's show.
