Founding member Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes died in a car accident in 2002, but r 'n' b act TLC are still a going concern for its remaining members - who want to record one 'final album' before calling it a day.

Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins and Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas have not released an album of new material since 2002's '3D', but want to release their fifth and final record in 2015 with the help of a Kickstarter campaign.

They're looking for $150,000 (€129,000) in total. Some of the rewards for fans who donate include everything from video tutorials of their dance moves, signed vinyl, a personalised voicemail message for your phone, a phone call from the band or the chance to go to the cinema in LA with either member. They will even host a 'slumber party' with either member for fans who pledge $5,000.

"Our final album will stay true to the TLC sound, always confronting the real issues and life experiences that we all must face every single day, everywhere," they write on the funding page. "We write music that people relate to...timeless music. No matter the trends, we feel like our music is always relevant.

You'll always have a guy hanging out the passenger side!

And sometimes you'll feel damn unpretty!

We will continue to make music for EVERYONE, music that's UNIVERSAL, TOUCHABLE.

This final album will be the first studio album by the two of us. Of course, Lisa's spirit will always be present in our music. That will never change."
