Wasn't there always a question mark over Victoria Beckham returning for (yet) another reunion tour? We were under the impression that they were planning to reunite with or without her...
To the facts! The Spice Girls had mentioned their intention to reform for their 20th anniversary in 2016 (yep, TWENTY YEARS). Reports are circulating this morning that Mel C, AKA her Sportiness, will only agree to sign up to the tour if Victoria Beckham does also. Or, to quote The Sun newspaper, "all the cogs are in place." And here's why, according to their source: "This means good management, good tour promoters and good sponsorship to maximise revenue. To fulfil this Mel believes the band has to be the original five-piece and Victoria needs to be involved."
She's probably got a point... As it happens, Mel C also has an opinion regarding where she'd like to mark the twenty year release of Wannabe: "We've talked about it, but we just haven't got our act together. We’re a bit useless. But performing at Hyde Park would be amazing."
As for the rest of the group - Baby, Scary, and Ginger - they're said to be "bickering" over "who will manage next year's shows." Ladies, 2016 is approximately 9 days away. Just saying.
As expected, reaction to this news has been mixed...
"@MirrorCeleb: Stop. Right. Now. Spice Girls reunion tour is in crisis! *crying emoji* https://t.co/CPhmRsnFuW" It's a Christmas miracle!
