Several new names have been added to the bill for this summer's Longitude festival in Dublin's Marlay Park. Joining the previously announced Disclosure, Ben Howard and James Vincent McMorrow (among others) will be Bombay Bicycle Club, First Aid Kit, Icona Pop, George Ezra and Koreless.
This year's edition of Longitude will be the second iteration of non-camping weekend festival in the centre of Dublin after last year's debut festival, which boasted performances from the likes of Phoenix, Vampire Weekend and Kraftwerk, was generally considered a resounding success.
Other bands already confirmed to play include Haim, Bastille, Chvrches, Hozier, Sam Smith, Bonobo, John Talabot, Julio Bashmore, Cyril Hahn, Le Galaxie, Bondax and Roosevelt.
While this year's bill doesn't quite have the star power of the inaugural festival, some of music's most promising new sounds will be showcased in Marlay Park this summer and we predict that it'll be one hell of a good time.
Longitude will take place in Marlay Park across the weekend of Friday 18th July to Sunday 20th July. Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday 7th February priced at €149.50 for weekend tickets and €59.50 for day tickets.
