It's been almost 12 years since Phil Collins last played in Ireland, but he's setting that right with a gig at Dublin's Aviva Stadium next summer.
As part of his 'Not Dead Yet' comeback tour, the former Genesis drummer will play his Greatest Hits at the Aviva on Sunday, June 25th, 2017.
Speaking of his failed retirement, the 65-year-old said: "I thought I would retire quietly - but thanks to the fans, my family and support from some extraordinary artists I have rediscovered my passion for music and performing. It's time to do it all again and I'm excited. It just feels right."
The Dublin gig is the first gig announced for outside of London, where he'll play five nights at the Royal Albert Hall and one night at Hyde Park, also in June. All six have sold out.
It's the second event announced for the Aviva next summer, following Robbie Williams's stint there on June 17th.
Tickets for Phil Collins at the Aviva Stadium are from €89.50 incl. booking fee and on sale from usual outlets next Tuesday, December 20th at 9am.
