If you've ever wondered what Phil Collins really thinks about life, the music world and especially the other members of his former band Genesis - you'll find out soon enough.
The star is to publish his 'warts and all' autobiography next year after inking a deal with Penguin Random House.
Although he has essentially retired from music since 2011 due to an injury from playing the drums, he said in 2013 that he was considering a return to the music industry, although it never materialised.
Instead, it looks like he has turned his attention to writing his own story. "Several times over the last few years I have been asked to write a biography but never felt that the time was right - until now," he said. "Having found the right publisher in Penguin Random House I am ready to go on record about my life in music with all the highs and all the lows and to tell the story from my point of view, warts and all!"
The publisher, meanwhile, said: "The early material is simply breathtaking, and I am honoured to be his publisher."
Fans have quite a wait for the tome, however; it's not due for publication until October 2016.
