The second single from Coldplay's upcoming sixth album Ghost Stories has made an appearance online.' A Sky Full of Stars' , which you can listen to above, will be available to download from May 3rd ahead of the album's release on May 19th.
The tune follows the previously released 'Magic' which was released earlier this month and follows that song's lead in showcasing a relatively new musical approach from Chris Martin and his cronies - a 'conscious uncoupling' from the band's former sound, perhaps?
Meanwhile, Coldplay yesterday announced that they have hidden envelopes containing Chris Martin's handwritten song lyrics in various libraries around the world and they can be found by deciphering various messages from the official Twitter feed. One of these envelopes will contain a Willy Wonka style Golden Ticket which will gift its finder a trip to see a very special secret Coldplay show in the Royal Albert Hall.
They'll try anything to get kids in libraries nowadays it seems..
