Kings of Leon are back with a new single 'Supersoaker'. Debuted on Zane Lowe's radio show yesterday evening, the song is the first track from the forthcoming album 'Mechanical Bull'. It's good to hear the band are back, given some family business and a cancelled tour last year, we were worried that the end of the road was in sight for the band.

Speaking on the Radio One show last night lead singer Caleb Followill said, 'I think the last one took the pressure of us, 'Come Around Sundown' followed-up to what was at the point the biggest record of our career [2008's 'Only By The Night'], so going into this record it was like, 'The monkey's off our back, we don't have that pressure of whether we're going to be able to match what the last record did.' We changed it up a bit on this record.'

So what can we expect from the album? According to bassist Jared Followill, the album sounds 'youthful' and can be compared to their earlier material -'Youth and Young Manhood' and 'Aha Shake Heartbreak' but is also a 'culmination of all their previous work. Listening to the new track we are looking forward to hearing the full album, which is out on the 24th September. You can listen to the track 'Supersoaker' below.
