After making a whole big deal about how she had a "special announcement" to make today at 12 o'clock Kylie Minogue has now revealed that she has a new single and album on the way.

'Aphrodite' will be Kylie's fifth album to be released on Parlophone, eleventh overall. It features the songwriting skills of Stuart Price, Calvin Harris, Jake Shears, Nerina Pallot and Keane's Tim Rice-Oxley, and of course, Kylie herself.

'Aphrodite' is due for release on July 2nd, and will be preceded by the single 'All The Lovers' on June 25th. Kylie said of the single, "The single was one of the last tracks to be written for the album. As I was recording it I knew that 'All The Lovers' had to be the first single; it sums up the euphoria of the album perfectly. It gives me goose-bumps, so I’m really excited to hear what everyone thinks of it".

If this YouTube teaser trailer is anything to go by, we'll be hearing some more dance-friendly electro-pop goodness from the Aussie pop princess.
