After much speculation about the future of The Killers, the band have now revealed that they are on 'hiatus', as frontman Brandon Flowers plans to go solo.
A countdown clock appeared on The Killers' website earlier in the week, and the news finally came yesterday that Flowers is ready to release a solo album, entitled 'Flamingo'. As yet there are no more details on the release, but information is expected to arrive soon. In the meantime you can hear some music from Brandon on his new website.
Elsewhere, drummer Ronnie Vannucci is working on a new project called Mt Desolation with members of Keane, Mumford and Sons and Noah & The Whale. More on that here.
