WILL SOMEONE GET THIS MAN A P.A. WE REPEAT, WILL SOMEONE GET THIS MAN A PERSONAL ASSISTANT OF SOME KIND.

Justin Vernon of Bon Iver proved that even internationally renowned stars of the music world get shoddy treatment by airlines.

Vernon - who was flying to Europe to play a run of festival dates, including this coming Monday at Dublin's Forbidden Fruit - had a bad experience with Delta yesterday when the airline re-booked some of his group onto another flight without their permission.

Phrases like 'Diamond member' and 'platinum flyer' won't mean anything to mere mortals like us, but Vernon was incensed at the idea of being placed in inferior seats - demanding that the airline 'take better care of' his crew, "or we're taking our 500k of business a year elsewhere".
